The Blog With No Name

Dr D pulled out the pins the other day (with pliers). That felt good (not). First she had to twist them, to get them loose from the bone and skin surrounding them. Then out they came. It’s nice not to have foreign objects lodged in one’s body any longer, but I had hoped to be mobile by now. Alas, it’s another two weeks or so. I can begin putting weight on my foot, but still with the crutches etc. ARG!

It’s looking much better, not nearly gross enough to warrant another photograph. Just two metal thingies sticking out of the top. I hope to have those removed on the 28th. My wails of anguish will be audible nationwide if that turns out not to be the case. Keep fingers/toes/etc crossed for me!
