I just sold my Essentials of Electronics textbook to someone via Amazon, for more than I paid for it on half.com (of course, once I’ve paid the *actual* shipping cost, vs. Amazon’s Fantasyland figure, I will probably have broken even) !!! Isn’t that amazing? I got an A+ in the class, by the way.

I will never ever have to come to this community college on a crappy winter evening, risking life and limb, when all other sensible people are at home. No one is going to come in to the labs tonight. The administration of this place will never ever ever figure that out. They are idiots.

By the way, this is my last night. Just thought I’d mention it…tee hee hee……

After today, I never have to go to work on Saturday again! Hooray! As a special treat, I get to help the testing room proctor keep an eye out for cheaters today. There’s been a rash of them this past week. I brought my nice English riding crop with me, and I’m going to stand in the corner of the testing room and attempt to look intimidating. Wish me luck. I’ll have to practice my German accent…

Tomorrow night the next Hornblower movie airs on A&E! We are having what my spouse refers to as an “estrogen party” to watch it, at a friend’s house. Chicks Night Out! We (the Estrogen Brigade) saw “Master and Commander” a few weeks ago, too. Yo ho, Admiral Schmidlap! Aye aye! Avast! (wait, that’s pirate talk…)

It works like a charm. No drivers, no nothin’. Plug it in and put stuff on it. Everyone to whom I have shown it has turned green with envy.
